Overall, it was a fantastic day with a brilliant atmosphere throughout and great performances on show from all schools and teams that were involved. Thank you to Edward Parsons t from Sportshall UK for leading the event on our behalf and to the sports leaders from East Norfolk Sixth Form College who were amazing and helped with judging both the track and field events and encouraged/supported the pupils to perform their activities.
It provided a great opportunity for the pupils to come represent their school in a sports event. All of the pupils were engaged, active and improved across the competition. As a result of today, we encourage schools to provide the children the opportunity to develop further by putting on clubs after school, lunchtime and before school as well as encourage the girls to join a local community club to promote athletics and develop the sport further to improve health and fitness.
