Description

ENSSP Year 3-4 School Games COMPETE Mini Tennis Event. This event is for pupils who are competitive in nature and enjoy performing and competing against others. Players/ teams displaying School Games Values and fair play will celebrated alongside the results. Due to this event being in partnership with LTA delivering this event, 4 teams will qualify to the Norfolk LTA Mini Tennis yr 3-4 Competition on Monday 27th June 2022.

Entry is open to all Primary schools within the East Norfolk SSP only via booking on the SSP website. Only 1 booking per school. (If spaces do not get fully filled, SGO will email to schools booked on if they would like to enter a 2nd team). First come first served basis.

Information will be sent to the teams booked on closer to the time/ after deadline. Make sure you book on before the deadline.

Booking onto this event means you agree to the terms and conditions.

School to bring their own tennis rackets if they have them, if not we will provide tennis rackets.

Format

This is a mixed event for pupils for yr 3-4.

Squads to be of 4 pupils (2 boys & 2 girls). Players need to be ranked 1-4 in ability by each school (1=highest).

Rotation of matches

The competition will be held outside so please ensure your team are appropriately dressed and have an appropriate drink to keep hydrated. Please keep up to date on our social media (Twitter - @EastNorfolkSSP) or via our website for any disruptions.

Arrival 12:15pm

Registration/ Briefing 12:15/12:30pm

Competition Start - (first games) 12:30/12:45pm

Competition Ends 2:30pm

Risk Assessment

By booking to take part in this event you agree that you have read and understand the contents of the event risk assessment and the safeguarding and responsibilities form/ Event guide. Please note that schools are responsible for the transport, arrival and departure of their pupils. Schools should bring their own first aid kit and are responsible for the first aid of their students. Bring your own handsanitiser.

Photography/ videos

We use a variety of digital and social media to promote all our events including our SSP website and Twitter profiles. By booking onto this event, you are agreeing to our photo policy. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers. Please ensure you make the SSP staff aware of any children without photo/ video consent prior to the start of the event. These children will be asked to wear a yellow armband throughout the event which will indicate that no photographs/ videos should be taken of them.

Safeguarding

Schools are reminded to follow guidelines in the SSP Event Guide handbook and their schools safeguarding policy.

Spectators

Unfortunately, NO spectators are able to attend this event.
