Description

ENSSP Year 3-4 School Games DEVELOP Tag Rugby event. This event is for pupils who enjoy friendly competition but don’t want to solely focus on winning and losing, instead they focus on supporting a pupils wider development. Players/ teams displaying School Games Values and fair play will celebrated alongside the results.

Entry is open to all Primary schools within the East Norfolk SSP only via booking on the SSP website. Only 1 booking per school. (If spaces do not get fully filled, SGO will email to schools booked on if they would like to enter a 2nd team). First come first served basis.

Information will be sent to the teams booked on closer to the time/ after deadline. Make sure you book on before the deadline.

Booking onto this event means you agree to the terms and conditions.

Format

Schools must bring their own tag belts/tags with them. Also bring your own bibs incase a colour clash with another school. The club will be able to provide some schools that do not have their own tags/belts.

8 players in a squad.... Seven players will be on the pitch at any one time for the non scoring matches (1 sub). Mixed with no gender restrictions and all abilities welcome. A minimum of 2 boys and 2 girls must be on the pitch at all times.

In the morning schools with rotate around stations to develop the players skills. In the afternoon the schools will play non scoring games putting their skills into practice.

The competition will be held outside so please ensure your team are appropriately dressed for the weather conditions and have an appropriate drink to keep hydrated and food to keep fuelled. Please keep up to date on our social media (Twitter - @EastNorfolkSSP) for any disruption due to weather. Also There is no indoor space so please bring waterproof or bin bags to put pupils bags in to keep things dry.

By booking to take part in this event you agree that you have read and understand the contents of the event risk assessment and the safeguarding and responsibilities form/ Event guide. Please note that schools are responsible for the transport, arrival and departure of their pupils. Schools should bring their own first aid kit and are responsible for the first aid of their students. Bring your own hand sanitiser

Photography/ videos

We use a variety of digital and social media to promote all our events including our SSP website and Twitter profiles. By booking onto this event, you are agreeing to our photo policy. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers. Please ensure you make the SSP staff aware of any children without photo/ video consent prior to the start of the event. These children will be asked to wear a yellow armband throughout the event which will indicate that no photographs/ videos should be taken of them.

Safeguarding

Schools are reminded to follow guidelines in the SSP Event Guide handbook and their schools safeguarding policy.

Spectators

Unfortunately, NO spectators are able to attend this event.
