Aviva Sportshall East Regional Secondary Schools Final - at Hertfordshire Sports Village on the 7th April 2011
Congratulations to Flegg High Schools U13 girls team who finished second at the East Region finals on 7th April. The team were competing against the winning schools from the rest of the region and were just piped at the post by the host county Hertfordshire.
Some Flegg highlights and outstanding individual performances on the track include – Lucy Brice and Rhiannon Clarke 2nd in the 2 lap individual races. Amy Dowsett and Emily Anderson 1st in the 4 lap individual races. Amy Dowsett 1st in the 6 lap individual race. Amy Dowsett and Kate Canham 1st in the Paarlauf relay.
In the field events some memorable performances include – Lucy Brice – 1st shot 9.00m; Amy Dowsett 1st Speed bounce 80; Emily Anderson 3rd Standing triple jump 6.00m; Lucy Brice 1st vertical jump 59cm.
A fantastic day out was had by all.

Tuesday 17th January saw us hold the second instalment of or Key Steps CPD at Cliff Park Junior School. Once again expertly tutored by Donald Carr, the course saw over 20 teachers, TAs and other support staff attended the 2 hour workshop.
