YST / MATALAN Sporting Promise & Primary Active Leaders

This is a FREE course in conjunction with the YST/MATALAN and West Norwich & Dereham SSP

This course is sponsored by the YST and MATALAN and focuses on key areas of Primary PE teaching at KS2.

Through support materials in Dance / Gymnastics / Games and Leadership, the course provides practical advice and guidance in areas such as the Development of the whole child, use of higher order questions in your teaching, adapting activities utilising STEP Principles, assessment for learning, use of different teaching styles and much more.

Each attending school will receive a large number of fantastic free resources, including Educational posters. TOPs Activity resource cards for Dance/Games/Gym, software to support the teaching and development of GAMES activity and more.

In addition the course looks at Primary Active Leaders - Leadership in KS2 - how to use and integrate into PE and the wider school environment.

This is a Practical course and lunch will be provided.
